CEGU Ph.D. Research Assistant
The Committee on Environment, Geography and Urbanization (CEGU) is seeking one or more Ph.D. student research assistants for a research project on fossil capital and its influence on institutions, including colleges and universities. The RA will work closely with faculty on the project vision and oversee a small group of undergraduate students on data collection, organization and analysis. The project will be part of a new CEGU Research Lab dedicated to collaborative faculty-student research related to the local and planetary impacts of fossil investment and “sustainability” on campus, in communities, cities and beyond. The graduate RA will have related research interests, expertise in social science research methods, and experience working with undergraduate students. The RA will work approximately 10 hours a week in Winter and Spring quarter of 2025. This position is posted on Grad Gargoyle with ID 9174868
