Xixi Jiang

Xixi is a recent MAPSS graduate and Instructional Assistant at CEGU. Her MA thesis investigated the development of the Open Streets program in New York and different appropriations of public space during the pandemic. Previously, she was a research fellow and organizer at the Right to the City Alliance, working with both national and grassroots groups to pass green legislation. In her free time, she likes to go on urban hikes (by public transportation or by foot) and work on her own translation projects. She hopes to contribute to the interdisciplinary and global perspective of the PGE and collaborate on interesting research with students and faculty
