Tess Conway

Student Affairs Administrator, Committee on Environment, Geography and Urbanization (CEGU)

Tess Conway is the Student Affairs Administrator for the Committee on Environment, Geography and Urbanization. Tess previously worked as Assistant Director of Programming & Partnerships for Chicago Studies↗, where she developed city-based para-curricular programming and managed on- and off-campus partnerships that aided the College in learning from and with the communities of the city in which it makes its home. Prior to her time at the University, Tess served as Program Coordinator for the Calumet Collaborative↗, a non-profit focused on sustainable urban development on the Southeast Side of Chicago.

​Tess is a life-long Chicagoan and received her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in Environmental Studies, where she focused on human/nature relationships and urban sustainability. Outside of the office Tess is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking with her dog Brady, camping, kayaking, and most importantly, bird watching.
